Wingspann Farms LLC
Located in North Phoenix, We are breeding and raising Quality Registered Haflingers for all disciplines. These wonderful horses have it all. Temperament, personality, and a kind gentleness. They are used for anything from Combined Driving to Dressage and as Cattle horses. A Great family horse. Andre
Andre is our eighteen year old stallion by Abner (Alpen Konig) out of Lavinia (Storm). This is early imported Haflinger blood. He won many cart classes as a young horse. Andre is a deep chestnut color and passes it on to his foals. He is 13.1 hands tall. He is an excellent driving horse with lots of power and style.
His first foals at our farm will be born in the spring. Our best show winning gelding "Adam" is a grandson of Andre. Andre is covering mares at our farm this spring. His stud fee is $550 LFG.
Cora Lee Anna (Magoo x Corina)
Anna is a 10 year old Registered Haflinger mare. She is 13h and well broke to drive single and double. She is also an excellent brood mare. She has produced three foals for us including; Aden our weanling colt and Cora our brood mare for sale. She is gentle and sound, stands for the vet and the farrier. She will be bred back to our Stallion Andre in the spring.
Lambchop - Grey pony mare for sale.
Lambchop is part Thoroughbred and part Welsh cob. She stands 13.1 hands tall and is ten years old. We have had her in driving training for over a year. She is also an excellent riding pony that can jump.
She is an excellent mover with correct conformation. See Robert her 2002 Registered half Welsh colt also for sale. We think that Lambchop would make an excellent CDE pony. She is forward moving and of sound mind and body. She has had many miles in the Open Arizona desert.
Aria
Aria is a May 2001 Filly by Alchemist RVRW (Aristocrat TOF) out of one of our mares Cora`s Sissy (Stardrift) who is also for sale. She has been started under saddle and is doing very well. She has very nice movement and a willing attitude. We will start her in driving training this winter.
Cora - Cora is a Registered draft type mare.
Due to a recent injury we are forced to sell Cora as a broodmare only. Her injury had healed very nicely, and she appears to be completely sound, but we are unsure of her ability to be put back into a full work schedule.
Contessa
C-Wingspann`s Contessa is a May 2002 filly. (A Dividend x Conestee CRB) Afgan III and Abraham bloodlines. She is has excellent conformation her temperament is very quiet and kind.
Beau`s Superman - (Beau WMD x Supreme Delight DNH)
Beau is a 4 year old gelding. He is broke to ride and drive. He is 13.3 h and a nice mover. He is by far the most affectionate Haflinger we have. Willing to please and nice to be around. He has packed many miles in the mountains with his previous owner.
Windermere
Windermere is one of our newest and premier broodmares.
She is seven years old and 14.1 hands tall. Her Sire is Midorn of Highlite. She is out of the mare Winnie LMP. Windermere has the size and movement that we look for in our breeding program. She can excel in riding or driving. She has had some lower level dressage training. She can also jump very well.
Shalamar is a tall elegant ten year old mare by Alpha U and out of Shongaloo. Shown extensively when she was younger she won many halter classes. She was shown in cart, multiple hitches, riding and youth classes.
In 1998 she had her first filly "Surely SNA" by Nobleman TOF who won four halter classes as a weanling. This mare is an excellent producer that puts size and long necks on her foals. We are proud to have her as one of our mares. She has proven herself as an outstanding driving mare. Very willing and brave. We will start showing her this Spring and Summer.
Her 2002 Filly "Sierra" by Aristotle TOF a 58in Aristocrat TOF son is truly a stand out. Sierra now lives in California.
Adam - Adam is our best show gelding. He is the grandson of our stallion Andre. He has done very well in our local driving shows, taking many first place ribbons. He has also done well in the Arizona CDE`s. The newest showing that we are currently doing with him is Arena Driving Trials. We won our division at the first Arizona Driving Trial. He is a lot of fun to drive and we are really enjoying him.
